Rio is a very handsome, typically chilled out greyhound who walks beautifully on the lead. He enjoys meeting people and has a very calm, friendly demeanour.

He has been out to the park a few times and has coped really well. He initially wasn't too sure what those weird non-greyhound creatures are but he's getting used to them and has shown no signs of reactivity. He does occasionally like to bark at other dogs off the lead but he's quite easy to distract and move on. He calmly walks past other dogs when they're on the lead.

Rio is a lovely friendly boy and is happily kennelled with a female.

He's a very popular hound with the volunteers so if you're interested in adopting Rio, you'd better contact us quickly before one of them adopts him!
